If you have not been to the childrens museum....you must go!! Brady has an absolute blast there and we have visited it 3 times already. The first time we went daddy got to join us for a little while and see our little man run around. The second time we went with my mother-in-law Linda and she got to enjoy holding Logan and see Brady have fun. This past time we went...our buddy Carter got to go. We drove all the way from Surprise down to the Museum which is located at 7th street and VanBuren - as soon as we pulled in to park we see two buses. Darn - we have come on a field trip day. We were there maybe 45 min and I said enough....I promised Carter that Aunt Lindsey will bring him back when its not so crazy. There was just way too many kids all packed in the rooms and they were so big and knocking the boys over. Its a good idea to call and see if there is any schools coming in and what time. I got 3 free passes to come another day. We picked up Ryan to have lunch with us. We snagged some Subway and went to the park for some nice out door fun.

Uncorked & Unplugged
Last night Ryan and I went to an event called Uncorked & Unplugged with Daniel and Jessica. Jessica, got the tickets thru her work and was kind enough to ask Ryan and I to join them since we had not yet been out together with out the kiddies. Dave came over and watched the kids which was so great. The event took place down at Desert Ridge. As you walk in they hand you a little wine glass that fits so nicely into your plate and they place a wrist band on you that has 10 drink tickets on it. You go around and sample all these different food and beverages. Each time you get a drink you take off one of your tickets. Anyways...we all walked around and sampled all these different foods and wine and had a great time. Hard to explain how it was set up but, they had a band playing in one area which we have a picture with them. Show stoppers was there with good ol Neil Diamond and in another area they had Tina Turner who the boys said fell off the stage into a bush -- Jessica and I regretfully missed that happening.
I think one of my favorite parts was when Jessica and I went and used the Ladies Room and came back to meet the boys where they were waiting and watching Tina sing....there were two gals hanging out right next to our men. Jessica and I walked up to them and the women totally walked away. OMG....they were so trying to get our guys!!! Well, its not surprising...being that our husbands are so good looking.
We had a wonderful time and it was so nice to get out of the house and have an adult night. Its always hard for me to leave my kiddies but, it sure was nice to just have some time with my hubby and friends. Thanks again Daniel and Jessica for letting us tag along and have a fun night out!!!
**Below are our pictures from Ryans Blackberry -- we forgot our cameras so they are kinda fuzzy. I also took a picture of our wrist bands....as you can see - there are still plenty of drink tickets left.**

SURPRISE!!!!
We have moved to Surprise! Ryan and I are soooo happy to be in our new home. I thought it would be fun to share some " Under Construction " pictures on our blog and then once we are all moved in and things are on the walls I will post some more pictures to show the huge improvements. I am sure everyone knows how much work it is to move and I have moved about 5 times in the last 5 years but, my gosh.....this was the hardest yet. Still super busy unloading boxes and trying to make it feel warm and cozy. It will be awhile before we get everything accomplished that we have planned. We need to get a lot of window covering/blinds and the whole house has to be painted. I have put pictures below of what the house looked like right after we unloaded the Uhaul. Its coming along a little more everyday. Hope everyone who can will come over and say hello and see our new beautiful home.
Introducing....Trenton Drew Strong
We are in the process of unpacking from our big move and I have no free time on my hands at all BUT.....I am going to do a quick post and steal my sisters slide show of my newest nephew. Trenton Drew Strong who was born on October 3rd, weighing in at 7lbs 3oz and 19 inches long. Our new little family member gave his mom and dad some sleepless nights with his jaundice but, is now in the comfort of his own home doing great. He is such a beautiful little boy! My sister Jillian did an AMAZING job keeping it all together while she was in the hospital and totally looked fabulous. She is one of those people who you go and visit after having a baby and she looks like she put on fresh makeup and did her hair for the day.....makes me sick! :-)
We are so very excited to have our new nephew to watch grow and accomplish new things in this world. We love you lots Trenton - Welcome to the family.

Thankful
My sister Jillian, whom I talk to multiple times a day...had a conversation with me about laying in bed thinking about her next post and running thru it in her head while laying there. I on the other hand, have a horrible problem that when I go to bed I start singing songs in my head which can last up to three hours at times. Most of the songs are childrens songs that I have heard in the car on the DVD player behind my head or ones that I have seen on the boob tube. The current one that is playing in my brain right now is Pinky Dinky Doo! Super I know! I try so hard to get these blasted songs out of my head and start to relax so I can drift off to sleep and get the well deserved sleep that I need. My mom says that she does the same thing. Nice to know that someone else does but, doesnt help me when I am three hours into the same verse running over and over in my head. The boys take most of my energy along with my husband so, this sleep is well needed. I am breastfeeding Logan or I would try taking something like Benadryl to help me drift off (which dries up your milk soooo thats a no no.) Poor me I know!!! Now...since I am a blogger I too run thru things of what I am going to post and how I should type my words to match my feelings. Are you kidding me???
My mom always sends Jillian and I these emails of things that are going on in our world and how blessed we are. You stop for a moment and read how a very well known blogger http://nieniedialogues.com/ was in a plane crash and 83% of her body was burned along with her husband who's was burned 35%. Or where a post -natal infection costs a mother her legs, arm and sight. There are many more that make us all take a step back and say ~wow~ we are so fortunate. But, do we really know how blessed and fortunate we are??
How would you deal with these things???
Reflecting a moment on the woman who cannot see the baby that she just gave birth to...she now cannot change this childs diaper, or feed, or see the growth and stepping stones that this baby is going to go thru. Not to mention that this is her second child. My heart just aches for the families that go thru such tragedies. Truth of the matter is...we are all human and nobody can plan for such things or prepare for them because they are truly tragedies.
Ryan and I are in the process of buying a new house...Yaaaa! The whole process has been a complete nightmare and we both have been totally stressed out thru the whole thing. We almost lost the house twice but, it appears that its going to be a go! Very excited for sure but, to think that I have complained and bitched about things here and there when it comes to buying this house just makes me sick. I get a reality check every time my mom sends over something to me and read what another family has gone thru. Have you ever seen 99 balloons?? I posted the clip below. Tears run down my face every time I watch this.
I think my post is more for myself to remember how flippin fortunate I am and to stop being so ungrateful. I get to wake up every day and stand on my own two feet, I get to hug the people I love with my two arms, I get to see the smiles on my boys faces and hear them laugh, I get to run around chasing Brady all day long.
I am Thankful TODAY!!! AND for every day from here on out that I get to wake up and be a mommy, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, etc. I cant imagine not being able to see my boys smile....or to talk to my husband and tell him how much I love him. I cant imagine not being able to spend time with my mom and sister and hear them laugh at the silly things I do in life. I cant imagine not talking to my friends and comparing our funny stories about our husbands, kids, and life. I am soooo blessed to have such an amazing life. We all forget how great things are in our life and how fortunate we are for the our health because its easy to get rapped up in the small stuff. Sooo, for all you that do read this post. I am Thankful for you! I am blessed to have you in my life and thank you for being a part of it. Take a min. and go tell someone you love them. Take a min and look around....and see how flippin beautiful we have it.
Soooo we have a couple extra pounds on us, or our husband doesnt do the dishes when HE KNOWS we have had a hard day, we dont live in a mansion and drive a mercedes, but just one look at my little god given blessings and I KNOW - how Thankful I am to have this wonderful life and be able to have songs run thru my head over and over again for three hours!
Sending out lots of love to everyone!
A couple pic. that make me smile!

Ryan would kill me if he knew this was on here!!!

The Heavens Opened Up!!!
This will be a quick post but an....OH MY GOSH!
Did anyone else get the hail from the heavens above?? Jillian had just called to chat for a quick moment when I proceeded to tell her it was raining at my house. Brady really enjoys watching the rain and since we were up stairs -- I went into his room and opened his curtains so he could watch it come down. All of the sudden the rain got heavier and the hail started to come down hard. Brady is now running back and forth from his room to the computer saying ohhh ohhh ohhh. Jillian quickly prompted me to take a picture so, I hung up with her and grabbed Brady to take a picture of our quick hail storm. Crazy how big the hail is and the sound of it on our windows was just amazing. It only lasted about 7 min. and now the sky is blue and the ground is already starting to dry up. Hard to believe looking at the pictures!
