Christmas

We had a very low key, FUN Christmas this year. Its seems to get better and better every year as Brady gets a little older and can now open his own gifts. His big gift this year was suppose to be a playground set for out back but, we waited to long to order it and it has been out of stock since. Hopefully some time soon it will come back in stock because my boys LOVE to be outside. Instead of the playground set Brady got a tool bench so he could use his manly skills with some big time tools. At first he wasnt too sure about the noise making parts of it and only wanted us to push the buttons for them. However, once his cousins came over and played with it he loves it and plays with it all the time. Thanks to my mom for picking it up for us and finding the good buy.

After we did our family presents we headed over to my moms to have the kids open their gifts other gifts from family members. My mom LIKE ALWAYS.....made the most amazing food and was so kind to send home a care package for later eating. The boys really had a great time and it ended up being such a fabulous day because we all decided to just make it about the kids this year. My mom snuck in a Dirt Devil Dust Buster which I am forever grateful for -- I cannot believe I lived life without one of these. Its truly a little blessing to have around when kids are in your life.

I surprised Ryan with a Shuffle Board Table this year for his "Guy Room" and he was very surprised ( Ryan style of course ). Thank You to Daniel and Jessica for storying it at their house till the big day arrived -- along with helping Ryan set it up!!!
We agree that we are going to spend money on the kids and not get eachother stuff for Christmas and he usually breaks the rule and gets me something small which is super nice but, I feel like a nerd when I show up with nothing. I am officially safe for a couple of years! He got me a slide converter which I am soooo excited to dive into when we are all feeling better. There are so many pictures of us kids that we have never seen because they are on 35mm films.

On Saturday we went over to my in-laws house and had another nice feast and really just enjoyed the family. We got stockings stuffed full of goodies (my mother in law is the best stocking stuffer!!!) and the boys got lots of fun gifts that they love. Brady got a mini disc golf set that he really enjoys playing.

We are soooo blessed to have such amazing family members -- that we love and cherish. Now on to New Years!!!!!
